(Problem)
Template-based Shopify themes restricted layout control, added unnecessary bloat, and limited the brand’s ability to evolve visually and structurally. Misc Clothing needed a storefront that remained flexible without sacrificing performance or long-term maintainability.
Research focused on high-performing fashion storefronts and Shopify theme architecture to ensure the design system could translate cleanly into production without technical debt.
(Solution)
A fully custom Shopify storefront was designed and developed from scratch. The interface system was built in Figma using modular components and consistent layout logic, then implemented directly in Liquid with reusable sections.
The result is a lightweight, scalable storefront that preserves visual clarity while remaining easy to maintain and extend.
